What events can I list?
Any event taking place in Perthshire. Theatre, live music, workshops, markets, community gatherings, sports events, exhibitions, talks, family activities — if it's happening and people can attend, it belongs here.
Does it cost anything to list an event?
No. Perthshire Events is free to use for everyone.
Where does Perthshire Events cover?
The wider Perthshire area, including Perth, Pitlochry, Dunkeld & Birnam, Aberfeldy, Crieff, Blairgowrie, Kinross, and the surrounding towns and villages.
How quickly will my event appear?
Events are reviewed before being published, usually within a day or two. If your event is time-sensitive, email [email protected] and we'll try to prioritise it.
Can I list a recurring event?
Yes. When adding your event, choose the Recurring option to set up a weekly or regular event without creating separate listings each time.
I submitted an event but can't edit it
If you submitted without an account, you won't be able to edit it yourself. Email [email protected] with the changes you need.
To avoid this in future, create an account before submitting — you'll then be able to edit your events anytime.
Can I get my venue's events added automatically?
If you're a venue or regular organiser with your own website or listings, get in touch at [email protected]. We may be able to set up automatic importing so you don't have to add events manually.
Can I subscribe to the calendar?
Yes. Click the Share button on the homepage to get a calendar feed URL. Add this to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, or any calendar app that supports iCal/ICS feeds.
I found an error in an event listing
Email [email protected] with the event name and what needs correcting.
How do I remove my event?
If you created an account, you can delete your own events. Otherwise, email [email protected].
Who runs this site?
Perthshire Events is a volunteer project. The site runs on Gancio, an open-source events platform.
